Man, quite afew things happened this week that were hillarious, but depends if I can remember them, heh.
Let's see...
There was Tuesday, when Aileen, Caleb, Charmaine and I were in 4D's from classroom passing Aileen's Netball to each other. Somehow, we warped the game into a game of "Monkey".
Okay, fast forward like, say, 5 minutes. Aileen went to the toilet to change into her PE shirt, so Kumar, Lebs and I were left in the class room. We were passing, blah blah, then we stopped cause Lebs and I had to go for CLB (Chinese Language 'B', something like basic Chinese).
So while we were getting ready to leave, Caleb threw the ball not-soo-hard-ly to Kumar. She caught it, with a little flinching, and asked Caleb to try again (That, or he just threw it at her again when she was aware).
Well, Mr Tan's classroom's back wall isn't solid; it's that soundproof dismantleable wall thing, so it's not perfectly flat, but there's one or two support pillars jutting out here and there. So guess what? Kumar was standing right next to one.
And so Caleb took the shot. He missed Kumar (she looked relieved), it hit the wall, bounced, and hit her on the side. Now, it wasn't painful, but it was soo darned funny, or well, it was to a certain extent, heh.
Next one... Let's see... This one was yesterday. Titus, Bryan Ong, and Siong Lim came over yesterday to complete the filming for our "Geo-Challenge" video (yes, Titus, it's FIL-ming, not FLI-ming, no offence, just thought it was funny, :D).
We managed to finish everything, well, mostly... So we decided to just sit and play afew rounds of Soccer & Halo. Soccer was quite funny, I chased after the ball, or well my character did, and kicked it out, --'. Then came Halo.
Okay, so Halo fans won't find this funny, and those pro ones won't either, but heck, I'll just say it anyway.
We were set in Epitaph with Gravity Hammers and Spartan Lazers. After the "Slayer" soo thoughtfully added to mark the start of the round by Bungie, we chased after each other. After say, 5 minutes, the four of us were at the center of the map, although Byan Ong who was chasing after Titus, didn't see Siong Lim behind him, and Siong Lim didn't see me creeping up behind him. So here's what happened.
Titus *Running back* --> Whacked by Brong's Grav Hammer --> (Titus)"SH*T!!!! Wa Lao!!"
Siong Lim *lunging forward* --> Whacks Brong JUST as he saw Siong Lim --> (Brong)"Where did you come from?!"
Me *Running forward* --> Whacks Siong Lim on his back --> (Me) "HAH!"
Sounds boring, yes, but I got the vid in my 360, so whoever wants to watch it can come over, :)
Now for the funniest part of the week, this happened on Friday.
It was recess time and my class had PE for our first period, so I bought an Orange (Tangerine flavoured, to be exact) '100 Plus' from the drink store, the queued up to buy a Tuna Croissant from the snack store. Hannah tapped me on the left shoulder, I wheeled about and upon noticing no one was there, turned to my right.
"Want some? *offers un-opened 100 Plus*"
"*Smiles and drinks* Hmmm, tastes like orange flavour"
"Really? I thought it tasted like purple, are you sure??"
"Pretty sure... That or it could be... Porange, *facial expression -->xD*"
Yeah, pointless, but it's fun, :)
So after it was our turn to order.
"Aunty, Tuna Croissant *Pays and waits for Hannah out of the line*"
"(Hannah) Aunty, orange Croissant, eh wait, *lols* Eh! Eh! EGG Croissant! *lols even more*"
Man, I almost doubled over with laughter. Hannah was laughing her head off too.
Yeah, this week was quite funny. Alright, shall stop here, cause I wanna get on with 'tending to my armies'.
SOMEONE, GET 'Lord Of The Rings ; The Battle For Middle Earth 2'! I'm bored! Heh.

The Memories
Look what I found while blog-surfing;

Yes, that's the Choir. Man, I've actually forgotten that I wanted this picture! This was taken after the SYF competition (And after we won Gold). Heh, can still remember Ms Lim asking me if I was okay after that emotional outburst in the form of tears when the results were announced. Who said men don't cry? It's just that I've got more feelings than others, ;D.
Ack, I'll just talk about my experience with the Choir since I've already started.
"Ryan! The Choir needs help for SYF, wanna join?"
"*Ignores Message*"
"*persistent* Ryan, please join!"
And so I went through the whole 'should I, or should I not?' process. Guess the answer : YES. Thanks to Bridget and Samantha Wong (Who got transferred to UWC, miss you Sam!), I went to discuss it with Ms Liang, who directed me to Mr Tan and, upon approval, directed me back to Ms Liang. Long winded? Not quite, they were both in the staff room, heh.
Then begun the transfer.
Boys' Brigade --> Choir.
*Processing... ... ... Approved. CSV temporarily added to Choir name database.*
I can still remember the first practice, rather vaguely though.
*Enters Performing Arts 1*
(Ms Lim Ai Hooi)"Everyone, this is Ryan, and he has kindly agreed to help the Basses for the SYF. Everyone, please welcome Ryan. *claps*"
The songs were strange to me. Like, music notes? Crap, I never thought my failed Piano lessons would come back to haunt me.
Yeah, so, time progressed, and I actually found myself enjoying the practices, so much that I memorised the score for 'Karimatanu Kuicha' earlier than most Choir members. No, not showing off, but I'm just trying to show how much I loved and treasured each moment in (and outside) choir practices.
Slowly grew and got attached to the Choir, and each Monday/Thursday, I'd go "YEAH! There's Choir today!" and sang afew lines from the two songs we were supposed to be performing.
Then came the SYF.
I'll skip all the preparation details and (most of) the performance. Just know that we were very frightened, and we played it 'safe', a comment many have said when they heard our singing. Safe to the extent that it sounded good, but the song lacked life and 'colour'.
I forgot to clap at one part, very unpleasant feeling followed after.
Well then, the competition was over, and we were all raring to hear the results. Went back to school first, then travelled once more to the Victoria Concert Hall for the results. Was quite funny how everone was like "OMGosh, I hope we win!".
We waited outside the performance hall.
Some girls were bored and took pictures of themselves running into walls, haha.
"The Wait", Kim looks funneh, :)
Yeah. I'll make this short, cause I'm at a loss of words. We went in, sat down, but stood up again to clap for the judges (We roared for Ko Matsushita, the composer for one of our songs), then sat back down. Then came the emotional bombardment.
"Fairfield Methodist Secondary School ; Gold"
Everyone was trying to listen for the "With Honours", but it never came.
We left the hall, some of the girls were already crying, more followed suit. I can soo clearly remember what I felt. Disbelief, uncertainty, then it hit me; we won Gold. I just started tearing, then came the full force sob.
Under different circumstances, it would have been amusing. I mean, we were the only Gold choir which was crying in disappointment.
We had a debriefing, then Samantha, Bridget and I went to the 'Soup Spoon' to , if I can recall clearly enough, to "Drown our sorrows in Soup". The soup I chose tasted horrible, but that's just me; I don't have a taste for pumpkin, heh.
Came back home, told mom, and went to sleep after my shower. I felt too shacked from all the crying to do anything else.
Yup. Then this is where the first picture comes in. After that, my contract, which allowed me to stop going to the Boys' Brigade every Friday for Choir, ended. I still had feelings for the Choir though. Went back once or twice, Ms Lim warmly welcomed me (Eh heh... Not bragging again, but it's nice to know that you're appreciated, :D), and this whole experience was burned into my memory forever.
That's pretty much all I gotta say for now. Post another time.
