Solution

Yes, God be the Solution.

Was taking a cab home today. Had a rather queer conversation with the cab uncle guy. Alright, here's the conversation :
"Hello uncle, Sunset Way *Enters cab*"

"*While driving off* Sunrise Way Arh."

"Uh, no, Sunset Way"

"No, no, go Sunrise Way, I need to go there anyway."

"Uh... If you need to go there, then I'll get out of the cab, no need to trouble you"

"NO LAH, joking only."

"O.o, oh, sorry uncle, I'm very slow at catching jokes."

That's when he started saying how he tried that "Joke" on other people. Different reactions, all funny. This old lady pulled his ear, some other guy knocked him on the head. Then he said :
"Well, it's good that you were courteous, tell me that you were slow with jokes. Which church are you from?"

Told him Grace Methodist Church, and he was like :
"No wonder you're soo gracious (Urghhh, bad joke)"

Then we had some really good chat about how to evangelise. The uncle was a really devoted Christian, saying that the road of us Christians will be hard, but we must endure, like Jesus when He was persecuted by the temple leaders.

Also, he said that :
"You can be very intellectual in Bible knowledge, but if you don't have the intimate relationship with God, it's no use."

VERY true. He even gave, uh, well, 'tips' on how to evangelise. That I shall keep to myself first, but if you want to know, e-mail me (ryantwh3@hotmail.com), but the basis is to PRAY before you start, ask the Holy Spirit to fill you, and to guide you throughout the evangelism. Also, pray for protection, cause some people can be quite violent when it comes to religion.

Well, that's that for the cab trip. Now for the practical.

Zinc Carbonate.

Yes, my friends, salt Q be-eth Zinc Carbonate. The practical is nuts! Not the paper, but the lab. They pulled the curtains, it's ridiculous. In addition, they turned off the fans, and when the class lighted their Bunsen burners... MY GOSH, my perspiration was like 'heavy rain'. The only time I was even more drenched was on Tuesday, flag pulling duty.

Well, that being said and done, we had quarantine. A whole half hour of nothing (but those in first batch were even worse off, they were there for 2 and a half hours!).

After that, CAPTAINS BALL!
Played with 4D + some from other classes. I need to play more, going down hill.

Since we're on the subject of classes, I really admire 4D and 4E. Both are closely knit. Eg, 4D's the majority which fills the Capt's ball court, go for outings, etc. and 4E just went out for an outing today. And both classes were wearing their class shirts. 4D's even coming up with 1 more, and they don't mind paying, unlike some in my class :
"Wa lao, soo expensive ($20) and lousy quality summore!"

That's why, friends, you see me mostly after school at 4D's classroom. Anyway, after Capt's, went for a drink with Alastair at Dover, came back to school and traded phones with Val Ong (Take care of me phone, Val! Haha), and took a cab home. That's where the cab uncle story comes in. Upon reaching home, Bert, Siong, Ryan Foo, and Glen were awaiting my arrival outside my gate. Came over, played some Halo, Glen and Bert played Ghost Recon, followed by watching vids on my iPod, then they left.

Yup, that's pretty much it. I shall now tend to my armies (BFME 2, people! Someone get BFME 2! And Yeong Chuan, looking forward to playing with you again. BFME 2 needs more Singaporean players.).

Cheers!
